When you have some time to change trains. Then it is much nicer here than at the main train station. Friendly service, acceptable prices, decent quality. Only 10 minutes running time from HH Hbf, no traffic noise directly on the water.

Totally beautifully located on the Inner Alster, as a hamburger just enjoy his city with a cappuccino with a view of the water. The service was very friendly and attentive. Price-performance ratio is right. Again any time.

We both loved the selection of drinks! The tables were perfectly cleaned and the seating was extremely comfortable. The restaurant is always nice and we had a wonderful evening there. Not only the attentive restaurant staff was an absolute hit during our visit, but also the good climate.

Where do I start ... My dear wife and I sat there for 4 hours, mainly because of the beautiful view (we are not resident) for which there are already two stars. But then it started: We ordered lunch, burger, it was also quite tasty, my wife didn't make it. We ask the employee who let us know that it was already his fifth day there, the simple task of completing the third to half burger that my wife hadn't been able to pack. He said "yes". We sat there for a while longer, had a drink, in between times on the toilet, our food never arrived ... At some point you call in and ask and then the only thing is "you should have said earlier, nobody knows anything". Well ... there were also at least 2 other tables occupied, something like that can go under ... haha ​​... Young man, if that were my restaurant, you would at least be severely warned after such a mistake. No, in this restaurant the customer is blamed, as if it were his mistake, that he does not remind the SERVICE a thousand times that he also performs this SERVICE ... So, unpaid work is required of the customer here. With something like that, you can at least offer a small amount of compensation if you don't get a significant portion of the food you're paying for. But it didn't stop there. I order a large carafe of sparkling water ... Only one glass comes. I correct the now new service and it comes with the carafe. When I then take my first sip: Still water ... (you notice, I'm getting a little grumpy) AND then, to top it all, the lady tells me a wrong (too high) bill at the end (that was finally it with the tip.) If you also include the horrific beer price of € 4.70 for a 0.4l beer, the really nice afternoon is left with a bad feeling in the stomach ... I will definitely not be a customer here again. And it really doesn't have more than 2 stars ... It could have been saved, but unfortunately the shop is not customer-oriented

Great restaurant on a ship. Very good food at affordable prices.

The Alsterlagune is a great restaurant with a nice ambience on a boat and a view of the Alster. The staff here is very friendly and competent. I chose the cheesburger with potato wedges, which was on the lunch menu. The burger tasted really good. The salad was very fresh and the beef patty was juicy. The potato wedges were freshly made from their own potatoes and delicious. The Alsterlagune is a wonderful restaurant, I would love to come back.

The food was delicious, the waitress was friendly and attentive, and the setting couldn't be beat. And the price is also completely in order for the location and this quality.

Soooo beautiful .. Sat and eaten directly on the pontoon in the Alster .. Actually not wheelchair accessible but the staff made it possible .. An extremely nice and attentive service and the food was top class and also difficult for good eaters. Great value for money

If I could I would even give zero stars. The food came after an hour and then everything was wrong. The fries didn't taste good and even the Fanta was weird and the glasses dirty too. The orders were all wrong I wanted french fries but got potatoes that were ready. The fish was not tasty, it tasted of oil and was definitely not fresh.

We ate lunch there for the first time after Corona yesterday. It was a great stay. Super friendly service and the food tasted excellent. The portions are large and therefore the price is reasonable. Magnificent view of the Alster.

Incredibly slow service. Charged 4 euro for tap water which is something I've never experienced anywhere globally. Update since vendor responded: The menu did indeed say the water was €3.90 however the waitress never gave or showed us a menu until we challenged the price. It was clear that we did not understand what she was saying given we are not German speakers and she could have at this point shown us a menu. To reiterate, it also took 10 minutes for anyone to come to the table to serve even though it was not busy. The 7 drinks took 20 minutes to arrive which is slow service irrelevant of the price. The staff are not the meanest in the world, but they basically didn't care and treated us that way from the moment we walked in.

The waitress was the best I've ever met in my whole life. The food, music, sights were creating an outstanding environment. Totally worth to visit.

In good weather we enjoyed today the very tasty beef menu. For us, the Alster Fountain was the coronation of the company. Everything is wonderful!

Great service, great few.

Floating restaurant, clean, eclectic cuisine, quality and well presented dishes and good prices ... BUT in the end they bring us the total directly, without the bill ... why? They wanted us to put TWO bottles of wine (22 EUROS) instead of one !!!!

Great location smack on the inner Alster river right in front of the water fountain. Good food at reasonable prices, even though they don’t serve buffala mozzarela, which needs to be added to the menue badly. Great views and a very unique place. Hamburg at its best.

I feel bad giving 2 stars because the people working there were nice but unfortunately the place needs a renovation, it’s very old and dusty. The atmosphere was depressing despite the nice view due to the lack of customers. The music is also off putting. A nice place for older people I suppose.
